Why GPAA Exists
This Is Bigger Than Sports.
GPAA (Game Preparation & Awareness Academy) was never designed to be just another sports organization.
It was created to become a community ecosystem that develops athletes, leaders, entrepreneurs, skilled professionals, and future generations through preparation, awareness, education, and opportunity.
Our mission extends beyond competition. We are building environments where young people can discover purpose, develop confidence, and gain practical skills that prepare them for life.
One conversation changed everything.
Several young people shared a message that was impossible to ignore:
“If we don’t have recreation to go to, we’ll end up in jail or dead. Please keep the team going. That’s all we have around here.”
Those words represent more than one neighborhood or one generation. They reflect the need for positive places where young people can belong, grow, and be challenged to become their best.
For me, this mission is personal.
Thirty-two years ago, I was one of those children who could have benefited from an organization like GPAA. Today, I’m helping build the kind of academy I wish had existed for me and so many others.
GPAA is designed to help young people develop the mindset, discipline, emotional control, and life skills needed to navigate an increasingly complex world.
Because life doesn’t get easier.
We become stronger by preparing for it.
